Evolving Beyond Ego

Integrating Our Spirit & Our Higher-Self

The big Shift in Awareness

It's not about getting spiritual,
it's about getting real,
integrating our Higher-Self and
learning to live in peace and harmony.

It's about shifting our center of gravity
from our ego, our False self, our Fear self
to our Higher Self, our Soul and Spirit.

We'll always need an ego in order to live
in this world, but our ego needs to be
our servant, not our master.

That's why it's important to first consolidate and bring about a healthy ego, patching up the black holes left from childhood survival defenses, filling them with love and spirit.

That's when self-esteem, self-worth,
self-acceptance, and self-confidence,
or Soul-confidence will soar without effort.

It's just about enjoying this beautiful process.

What is Spirit?

Spirit is the energy of life itself. Spirit equals life energy. Spirit is alive-ness. We are a Spirit in a human body. We are spiritual whether we realize it or not. Spirit is the fabric of our being, our core essence, our real Self, even if we identify with the physical body, our emotions or our minds. We just have to shift our awareness to this part of ourselves. We have to awaken to this part of ourselves, that is always there, that has always been with ourselves, within ourselves. It is a major shift of perspective and energy state.

We can experience Spirit in a spectacular way when we feel inspired. Inspiration is the infusion of Spirit into our awareness and into our body. Inspired means being filled with Spirit.

What is Our Higher-Self?

Our Higher-Self is the individualized Spirit within our being. It is the expression of Spirit in ourselves. It is very personal and very subtle. We usually experience it when we feel good, peaceful and centered. Even though, we might not differentiate it, it is the part of ourselves from which we operate when we make a mature, wise decision. The sanction or reward comes immediately, in the way that we feel more secure, more whole, and more at peace. Awakening to this part of ourselves is key in our personal evolution. This part of ourselves, sometimes called the witness, the observer is what allows us to heal and grow the wounded parts of ourselves which are often call the inner child, the wounded little boy/girl inside of ourselves.
